Caila (Gaelic origin that means from the forest’s heart) is so happy that her friend Koda (little bear) found her gathering honey in the forest and he can’t believe the serendipity either! He loves honey so much, but he does love his elf friend more. The chance of having them both as company is even better, he doesn’t even mind the tiny bee on his nose! Caila is more than happy to share some honey with her friend. They are sculpted from epoxy clay, a two part clay that dries hard as a rock, over an armature, I created her little honey jars out of resin and paint. Her crown I created out of jewelry findings and clay. They are painted in acrylic paint. I also added a leaf charm, acorn charms, and tiny tinkling bells to her belt! I’ve added in found objects in her hair and sealed her with love and magic! I put a lot of time and love into these forest friends and I hope that you will love them as much as I do!
