Caila is more than happy to share some honey with her friend. They are sculpted from epoxy clay, a two part clay that dries hard as a rock, over an armature, I created her little honey jars out of resin and paint. Her crown I created out of jewelry findings and clay.They are painted in acrylic paint. I also added a leaf charm, acorn charms, and tiny tinkling bells to her belt! She has beautiful brass buttons all the way down her coat and two big caps at the shoulders (formally vintage earrings). Both of her ears are pierced with gold hoops. Pirates in those days believed that piercing the ears with precious metal could cure sea sickness. Her pirate hat has a vintage jewlery piece that is perfect for the feather in her hat!
