There is something magical about a secret door. Especially if that door is in the forest...in the skirt of a fairy! Would you go through the door if given permission? What kind of a realm do you imagine is on the other side? Fay means "fairy" in Old English. She was hand sculpted from epoxy clay, a two-part clay that dries hard as a rock, over an armature. I added tiny metal hinges and a door knob to her door. Her crown is made from vintage jewelry and charms. She has beads throughout her hair. Her skirt is layered in vintage fabrics that are stiffened, as well as antique lace as her collar. Her skirt is painted and acts as the perfect camouflage in the woods! Her wings are made from clear resin and painted and sealed. She is painted in acrylics and sealed her with love and magic! I put a lot of time and love into her and I hope that you will love her as much as I do!
